The 2025 Commencement ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, May 29th. This jubilant occasion celebrates the graduates’ hard work and brilliance. For over a hundred years, the Band has been integral to the festivities, adding excitement with every instrument and note. Band Alums are invited to join and help create unforgettable memories for the Class of 2025.
The Harvard Band’s Spring 2025 semester was a whirlwind of activity! From electrifying TD Garden with Crimson spirit to serenading on Valentine’s Day and supporting the Special Olympics’ Polar Plunge, they did it all. The Band also fostered community with brunches, outings, and movie nights, creating lasting bonds and unforgettable experiences.
On December 8, 2023, the Harvard University Band hopped on the Red Line with their instruments. They received a lot of curious glances from other passengers–where are these musicians dressed in bright crimson blazers going?
Harvard-Yale is special in the Band’s calendar, not only marking the last game of football season, but marking the last game with the current roster of staff. The Game is preceded by a nerve-wracking period of interviews and forums to decide the new junior and senior staff, so Harvard-Yale is a moment of celebration unlike any other celebration that a Harvard student experiences.
